Immature plants will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis at our Amherst dispensary starting spring 2023! New York patients and registered caregivers can place plant orders next year with one of our Amherst dispensary budtenders.

Who Can Purchase Cannabis Plants?
Only certified patients and designated caregivers 21 years of age or older, registered with the medical cannabis program, can purchase cannabis plants.
What are "mature" and "immature" plants?
"Immature" cannabis plants are non-flowering female cannabis plants that do not have buds present. "Mature" cannabis plants are female cannabis plants that have flowered and have buds present. Note that only female plants count toward the limits.
How many plants can I have?
Medical patients can possess three mature plants and three immature plants at any one time. For more information, visit the Office of Cannabis Management website.
Where Can I Grow Cannabis Plants?
You may grow your plants in a private residence in which you primarily reside. The plants must be away from public view, and in an area that is not accessible to anyone under 21. It can be indoors or outdoors, although it cannot be in a shared outdoor space.
Where Can I Purchase Seeds or Plants?
Registered medical cannabis patients and their caregivers can purchase seeds or plants from a state-licensed organization.
