Are there legal dispensaries in Maryland?

Yes, you’ll find state-licensed dispensaries for medical patients and recreational shoppers throughout Maryland.


What do I need when I visit a dispensary in Maryland?

All dispensary visitors must bring a valid, government-issued photo ID. If you are a medical patient, you will also need to present your valid medical cannabis card. (Maryland does not accept medical cards issued by other states.)


Where can marijuana be purchased in Maryland?

Like in most states, cannabis can only be purchased in state-licensed dispensaries. You can visit Verilife’s New Market, Silver Spring, or Westminster locations to make recreational cannabis purchases.


What are acceptable forms of ID for dispensaries in Maryland?

All customers will need a valid, government-issued photo ID like a driver’s license or a state ID.


Do Maryland dispensaries accept credit cards? 

Maryland dispensaries accept cash and many accept debit cards as well. Unfortunately, due to federal regulations, credit card payments are not possible.


Can I visit a Maryland dispensary if I’m from out of state? 

Yes! Visitors are able to purchase products from a recreational dispensary in Maryland. Medical marijuana is only available for in-state residents with a valid medical marijuana card.
