From Our Frontlines to Yours: How Verilife is Giving Back on 4/20

At the heart of Verilife, we’re focused on helping our patients and customers feel better and live better. Now with the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic weighing heavily on all of us, we understand that happiness might’ve taken a back seat.

In normal times, our teams would be preparing to celebrate the industry’s biggest holiday, 4/20. But in order to keep our customers and communities safe, we’re shifting our focus to bring a little joy to those selflessly helping others.

This year we’re giving back on 4/20 by donating $4.20 for every qualifying transaction across our Verilife dispensaries. The funds will go toward local facilities where frontline medical professionals are battling the coronavirus as well as organizations that are supporting their community members affected by this crisis.

"We are extremely thankful to all frontline healthcare workers who continue to battle this health crisis, as well as the local food pantries tirelessly working to provide meals for those in need," said Brett Novey, CEO of PharmaCann. "4/20 is both a celebration as well as a call to action, and on 4/20 this year, Verilife dispensaries nationwide will give back to the brave healthcare professionals fighting to save lives in our communities. PharmaCann’s frontline team is proud to support other frontline caregivers with this donation during these challenging times.”

Our Doors Will Remain Open

Verilife dispensaries will be open on 4/20 as we continue to follow state-mandated orders and social distancing best practices to keep our facilities clean and safe. We will always care about the safety and well-being of our communities, which is why we’re not only donating, but asking our patients and customers to make a contribution at checkout.

We’re making it simple to add a $1, $3, or $5 donation to your total order. It’s important for us to give at a time when our local healthcare professionals and community organizations need it the most.

The organizations we’re donating to, include:

Illinois
Arlington Heights: Inspired Home Health
North Aurora: Asbury Healthcare
Ottawa: Ottawa's local hospital
Romeoville: Senior Star at Weber Place

Rockville, Maryland
Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless

Wareham, Massachusetts
Southcoast Health

New York
Albany: Altamont Rescue Squad
Amherst: Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital
Bronx: Montefiore's Critical Response Care Fund
Liverpool: Finger Lakes Health Foundation

Cincinnati, OH
The Christ Hospital

Philadelphia, PA
Roxborough Memorial Hospital

“This is a time to give our community members a helping hand, and there’s no better day for our team to give back than 4/20,” said Bill McMenamy, chief revenue officer of PharmaCann. “We know Verilife’s frontline is working tirelessly through these difficult times to give customers and patients some much-needed relief. The least we could do is help those who are selflessly working for others during this crisis.”

We’re All Better When We Work Together

Verilife is grateful to be a source of support and community for our customers during this current healthcare crisis. For us, 4/20 is a day of celebration. But even with the difficulties we now face, Verilife believes we can still celebrate 4/20 with our local communities who come together and support one another in the midst of these serious challenges.

From our team to yours, thank you for everything you do.
